Cardiac Sonographer - Mercy San Diego

This is a full-time position (80 hours per pay period) with 10-hour varied shifts, including alternating weekends, morning and late shifts, and participation in the on-call rotation with staff. This position is based at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego in the Hillcrest community and includes split shifts between Mercy Chula Vista and Mercy San Diego.

• New Graduates (must have at least 1 year of Sonographer experience)

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:​

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)​
• Must remain in original department/specialty​
• Must remain in original Job Title​
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Required Qualifications:

• One of the following: 1) Associate of Science Degree Certification in Ultrasound in a school that is accredit. 2) Successful completion of a formal educational program in an AMA approved school of ultrasound with a minimum of 500 hours of clinical in the specialty required. 3) Registered in the specialty that you are applied for by ARDMS or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with at least 1 year of full-time experience required
• ARDMS or CCI
• RDCS or RCS
• BLS from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pediatric and adult experience
• IV placement experience
• 1-2 years’ experience
