Job Description: Traveling Certified Medical Assistant - Marlton, Mullica Hill, Lawrenceville, and Bala-Cynwyd.
- Helps patients by providing information, services, and assistance.
- Verifies patient information by triaging patients, recording medical history, and confirming the purpose of the visit.
- Does office prep including calling for medical reports and preparing charts for appointments
- Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; and reporting patient history summary.
- Helps assist provider with Injections, DME fitting, etc.
- Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt.
- Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, and calling for repairs.
Responsibilities:
· Update and maintain all digital patient records
· Prep patient charts before their appointments
· Checking patient in and out
· General understanding of our billing process
· General understanding of our insurance process
· Rescheduling appointments when needed
· Assist the manager in maintaining the medical inventory and placing orders for new materials as needed
· All other duties assigned by the physician

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
- 3+ years in a medical office
- Experience with EMR (electronic medical records), medical terminology
- Previous experience in an Orthopedic medical field preferred
*Position requires candidate to act as administrative assistant to the doctor (handling work notes, assisting staff with scheduling conflicts, managing the doctor's calendar, and other duties assigned by a manager) *
*Travel is required to multiple offices*
