Certified Nursing Assistant / Medical Assistant
As a Certified Nursing Assistant with Schlessinger MD, you'll be at the heart of our vibrant and award-winning dermatology clinic. Your main responsibilities will revolve around assisting our dedicated providers and fellow nurses in patient care, managing administrative duties with a smile, and delivering top-notch customer service to our cherished patients. Your role is not just important; it's the key to making our clinic shine!

In this role you will...
Possess a deep dedication to patient well-being, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong commitment to providing outstanding assistance to our clinic team.
- Welcome and room patients while creating a warm and professional experience
- Facilitate patient lab work by preparing ordered labs and pathology samples to be sent out
- Prepare examination and procedure rooms by ensuring they are clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies.
- Assist providers with medical treatments, procedures, and exams.
- Assist nursing team with daily duties to include: laundry, sterilizing rooms, autoclaving instruments
Location: On-site- Omaha, Nebraska
Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt
Current schedule: Monday-Thursday

We are looking for someone with:
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, medical professionals, and other external parties in a courteous, helpful, and friendly manner.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Team focused mentality: jump in where you can to minimize wait times.
