Role Overview

As a Rad Tech-CT, you will specialize in performing computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients, ensuring accurate and high-quality imaging. You may also perform general diagnostic radiology examinations, supporting both patients and healthcare providers. Your role is critical in providing the precise diagnostic information needed for effective patient care.

What You Will Do

• Perform computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients.
• Conduct general diagnostic radiology examinations as needed.
• Ensure accurate and high-quality imaging to support patient diagnosis.
• Maintain required hours of continuing education to stay current with industry standards.
• Obtain and maintain necessary certifications and licensures for the role.

Qualifications

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS) obtained within one (1) month of hire date or job transfer date.
• One or more of the following certifications/licensures: Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB), Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty.
• Must be registered in Computer Tomography within 12 months of date of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• NMTCB (CD Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.
• Prior experience in a healthcare setting.
