Computed Tomography Technologist - Henry Ford Health

Schedule: This is a 24hr/week, 48hr/pay position. This position rotates on a 12-week set schedule. Shifts are Afternoons: 11a-1130p during the weekdays and either 6a-630p or 8a-830p when covering the weekend. The candidate will be included in the CT holiday rotation. The candidate can pick up additional hours from posted open shifts as they desire.

What You Will Do

• Perform specialized computerized tomographic radiological procedures with precision and care.
• Conduct general diagnostic radiology examinations as needed.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during all procedures.
• Maintain and operate CT equipment effectively.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide accurate diagnostic information.
• Complete required documentation and adhere to departmental protocols.

Qualifications

What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Healthcare Provider certification (BCLS) obtained within one (1) month of hire date or job transfer date.
• One or more of the following certifications: Nuclear Medical Tech (NMTCB), ARRT(CT), or CNMT.
• Must be registered in Computed Tomography within 12 months of hire date.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy.
• Additional specialty certifications in diagnostic radiology.
