Position Overview:
At West Cancer Center, we are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients, employing cutting-edge technology and a compassionate approach. As a CT Technologist I, you will play a pivotal role in our commitment to excellence. Your primary responsibility will be operating imaging equipment to conduct procedures tailored to our specified patient population. Key Responsibilities:
- Performs quality radiologic procedures using appropriate technical and safety methods.
- Responsible for monitoring and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, quality standards, compliance activities, and policies and procedures.
- Effectively manages resources such as supplies and equipment. Plans work and completes job responsibilities in an efficient and productive manner.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a formal education program in radiography accredited by a mechanism acceptable to ARRT.
- Certification and registration as R.T.(R) ARRT.
- Must have CT certification within 18 months of date of hire.
- BLS is required.
- New graduates of an accredited program without ARRT will be accepted and must obtain certification and registry within one year of graduation date.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
