Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiographic diagnostic imaging to support quality patient care.
- Perform cardiac testing procedures such as Exercise Stress Testing, Holter Monitoring Scanning, and Pacemaker checks to support quality diagnosis & treatment of patients.
- Communicate effectively with patients about the procedure to obtain information and to offer reassurance.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- 2 year degree in related field
- May substitute degree for graduation from an accredited school of Echocardiography Technology.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- One-year experience in Echocardiography in a comparable healthcare setting.
