Job Description

• Department: Interventional Procedures Lab includes: Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology, and Electrophysiology
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• On-Call Requirement: Approximately 9–10 call shifts per month
• Weekend Call: Every third weekend
• Must live within 30 minutes of the Huntley Hospital

• Preference given for previous experience in:
  • Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
  • Interventional Radiology
  • Electrophysiology
  • Invasive hemodynamic monitoring.
  • Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, electrophysiology, and vascular interventions.
  • RCIS certifications a plus
  • Prior experience using EPIC EMR a plus.

• The Interventional Lab Radiology Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic and interventional procedures utilizing digital imaging.

Responsibilities:

• Under general physician supervision, functions in scrub and circulating roles.
• Performs image reconstruction/processing.
• Assists with Interventional Lab patient preparation, transportation, and recovery as necessary.
• Provides call coverage as scheduled.

Qualifications

Required:

• One year of Interventional Labs  (Cath lab or IR lab), or Critical Care experience.
• Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
• Graduate of accredited radiology school-RT (R).
• LIC IDNS
• REG ARRT
• CERT BLS
