Description
Job Summary:
Lab Technician test materials before, during, and after production to measure the characteristics of materials and ensure that they confirm to the specifications of the product. They are responsible for inspecting and testing products for quality and accuracy.

Job Summary:
Lab Technician test materials before, during, and after production to measure the characteristics of materials and ensure that they confirm to the specifications of the product. They are responsible for inspecting and testing products for quality and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Examines, measures, and tests the quality of products in a safe, accurate, and efficient manner.
- Utilize database to record measurements
- Label/package archived product or marketing samples
- If deficiencies found in products notification to supervisor or manager to be done in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean working environment
- Any other duties that the Company assigns as needed.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- High Attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Basic Mathematic and Unit conversion skills
- Computer literacy
- Written and verbal communication in English
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma / GED, required
- Prefer at least 1 year of Quality testing experience
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 75 pounds.
- This position requires, but is not limited to, standing, walking, utilizing stairs or ladders, driving automatic forklift, climbing, squatting, stooping, twisting, bending, grabbing and grasping.
- Must be able to work in a non-controlled environment
