Are you detail-oriented, dependable, and interested in hands-on laboratory work? Shamrock Technologies is looking for a Lab Technician to join our Fountain Inn team.
This is an opportunity to build valuable experience in laboratory testing and quality control while working with a team that values safety, accuracy, continuous improvement, and employee development. You will play an important role in making sure our raw materials and finished products meet quality standards before they move through production or are released to our customers.
What You Will Do
As a Lab Technician, you will:
Prepare, label, store, and test laboratory samples.
Perform testing on raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.
Accurately document test results and enter product data into company systems.
Help ensure finished products meet specifications before they are released for shipping.
Identify and properly place nonconforming materials on hold.
Calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment.
Maintain sample-retention areas, laboratory supplies, and calibration records.
Communicate testing priorities, results, and quality concerns to the appropriate teams.
Support production start-ups, changeovers, and quality-related investigations.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory.
Work closely with Quality, Production, Warehouse, and Customer Service.

Is willing to complete required training and maintain applicable certifications.
Previous experience in a laboratory testing or quality-control environment is required. A bachelor’s degree in mathematics, science, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
This position requires the ability to:
Work in both laboratory and manufacturing environments.
Sit for extended periods and perform computer-based work.
Lift up to 15 pounds.
Wear required personal protective equipment and follow all site safety procedures.
