Could you be our next Lab Assistant II Riddle Hospital? This is a Specimen Processing/ Phlebotomy role.

Under the general supervision of the laboratory supervisor, the Lab Assistant II processes and handles specimens for testing in multiple Clinical and Anatomic areas of the laboratory. Position: Laboratory Assistant II- 40 hours/week
Hours: 2p-10:30p-includes every 4th weekend (Saturday and Sunday) Holidays rotating.
Experience:
- 2+ years laboratory experience required.
- Proficiency in 2 different areas of the lab strongly preferred.
- 1 year experience with infant collections
Education:
High school graduate or equivalent, certification as a medical assistant or related field preferred, moderate knowledge of medical terminology, excellent verbal, written, computer and clerical skills.
Licensures/Certifications:
Maintains certification in the Packaging and Shipping of Hazardous Goods.
