Position Summary
We are currently hiring for a Lab Technician to work at our Sharonville location. The Medical Laboratory Technician (Moderate Complexity) performs urine toxicology testing, quality control procedures, specimen processing, instrument maintenance, and laboratory documentation in compliance with CLIA & COLA.
Responsibilities
- Receive, process, and prepare patient specimens.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Complete daily quality control and documentation.
- Review and report test results.
- Maintain reagent and supply inventory.
- Follow laboratory SOPs, HIPAA, and safety guidelines.
- Assist with inspections, proficiency testing, and compliance activities.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Laboratory, healthcare, or toxicology experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow written procedures.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
Preferred Experience
- Urine drug testing.
- Addiction treatment, behavioral health, pain management, or physician office laboratories.
- CLIA/COLA accredited laboratory environments.
