As a Lead Environmental Test Lab Engineering Technician here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a vital role in supporting our Aerospace business unit in Minneapolis, MN. You will be a part of a team of technicians and provide technical expertise to ensure the smooth operation of engineering processes and systems within the aerospace domain.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Minneapolis, MN location.
In this role, you will impact the Aerospace business unit by troubleshooting complex environmental testing issues, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of engineering processes that contribute to the development and maintenance of advanced aerospace systems.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Be a part of a team of engineering technicians, providing technical guidance and support to ensure project success.
- Run environmental testing using thermal chambers, humidity chambers, vibration tables, according to DO-160 and MIL-STD-810, on aerospace products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and improve aerospace engineering processes and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to maintain high quality and efficiency in engineering operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices within the team.
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality test results aligned with project goals and aerospace industry standards.
