The MA IV works under the delegation of a Practice Manager and/or Provider to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA IV is capable of performing all aspects of the MA I and MA II and MA III roles. Additionally, the MA IV serves in a leader role or is highly skilled and trained in multiple complex specialty areas and oversees ambassadors, change agents, quality champions, and preceptors within the clinic.
Ages of Patients Served: Birth and above. This position may require floating to other clinics

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training and Graduate of an accredited school that includes hands on training in a clinical setting for medical assistants Or
- Coursework/Training and Graduate of a registered medical assistant apprenticeship program Or
- Coursework/Training and Has completed two years of medical training in the United States Armed Forces Or
- Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Certification
- Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- 3 years of Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
- 3 years of experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
- 6 months of working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years, OR 18 months experience in a Lead MA role in a clinical setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification
