About the Role:

CardioClinic in Sugarland, TX is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic cardiology team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives while growing your career in a specialized, fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist physicians and clinical staff with patient examinations and cardiology procedures
Record and update patient medical histories, vitals, and EHR documentation
Perform clinical tasks such as EKGs, ABIs, Treadmill stress test, heart monitor placements, and vital sign measurements
Prepare and room patients, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient flow
Administer medications and injections as directed by supervising physicians
Coordinate lab orders, referrals, and prior authorizations
Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized clinical environment

Requirements:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) credential preferred
3+ year of clinical medical assistant experience, cardiology experience a plus
Proficiency with EHR/EMR systems and medical documentation
Experience performing EKGs and phlebotomy strongly preferred
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered bedside manner
Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-volume clinical setting
Current BLS/CPR certification required
