We're currently seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our clinic at 75 Sylvania Drive, Beavercreek, OH. Qualified candidates will have previous Medical Assistant experience, knowledge of medical terminology, and a current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification. Snapshot of Daily Duties Measure vital signs, including weight, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and documents all information in patient’s chart. Collect specimens for laboratory analysis, as applicable. Obtain, verify, and record health history of patients. Assist the physician with office visits. Must be able to assist physician in an emergency. Manage patient prescriptions as directed by physician. Manage referrals as directed by physician. Answer patient questions. Notify patients of test results Assist with scheduling office visits, procedures, laboratory tests, x-rays, outpatient testing, hospital admissions and appointments as necessary. The Must Haves High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant a plus but not required. Previous experience working in a medical office environment preferred. BLS certified required, or ability to get in 90 days of employment.  Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology required.
