Job Details: Job Location: Primary San Pablo - Jax, FL, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Medical Assistant – Primary Care Coastal Health is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented Medical Assistant to join our Primary Care team. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with patients, supporting providers, and being part of a team that puts patient care first. Position Responsibilities Welcome and room patients in a professional and compassionate manner Obtain and document vital signs, medical history, and medication information Prepare patients for examinations and procedures Assist providers with exams, treatments, and in-office procedures Perform injections, phlebotomy, and other clinical duties as trained and permitted Collect and prepare laboratory specimens Perform EKGs and other basic clinical testing as needed Administer medications and injections according to provider orders and office protocols Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record Assist with prescription requests, referrals, and patient follow-up Communicate with patients regarding appointments, testing, and provider instructions Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked exam rooms Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and company policies Work closely with providers and other clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow Provide excellent customer service and help create a positive patient experience Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Medical Assistant certification preferred Previous medical office or Primary Care experience preferred Experience with electronic medical records preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced medical environment Professional, dependable, and positive attitude Must be comfortable working directly with patients and providing clinical support Ability to work effectively as part of a team What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full-time employment Full benefits package 401(k) Paid time off Paid holidays Supportive team environment Opportunity for growth within Coastal Health About Coastal Health Coastal Health is a multi-specialty healthcare group with locations throughout Jacksonville and Southeast Georgia.
