We are looking for a Medical Assistant to join our team. We are an established practice that is continually growing. Responsibilities:
Escort patients to the exam room
Provide and coordinate efficient patient care while documenting the patient’s medical history and any other pertinent information related to their visit.
Ensure all documentation accurately reflects the patient encounter and plan of care. Attention to detail is a must.
Some areas of the practice require the ability to give injections, perform PFTs, provide basic patient education, and triage patient calls under the direction of the provider.
Sterilize and maintain exam rooms and instruments
Assist physician with procedures
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED is required
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent customer service and computer skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Friendly, personable demeanor
Detail oriented
Ability to multi-task
A minimum experience of one year experience in the medical field is preferred but not required.
Medical assistant certification is a plus, but not required.
