Enterhealth is seeking an experienced and compassionate Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our clinical team in the Outpatient Dallas–Highland Park area. This position is ideal for a dependable healthcare professional who enjoys providing personalized patient care in a professional, team-oriented environment.
The successful candidate must have hands-on experience drawing blood and administering injections, along with a current Medical Assistant or CNA certification.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and assist with preparing them for appointments and procedures
- Obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant patient information
- Perform blood draws confidently and safely
- Administer injections as directed by a licensed medical provider
- Prepare examination and treatment rooms before and after patient visits
- Assist providers during examinations, treatments, and in-office procedures
- Properly label, process, and prepare laboratory specimens
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
- Coordinate prescription, laboratory, and follow-up requests as directed
- Maintain appropriate inventory of clinical and medical supplies
- Follow infection-control, patient-safety, and confidentiality requirements
- Provide patients with professional, attentive, and compassionate support
- Assist with front-office or administrative responsibilities as needed
Required Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant certification
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Demonstrated experience drawing blood
- Demonstrated experience administering injections
- Previous experience in a physician's office, outpatient clinic, wellness practice, or similar medical setting
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures
- Strong documentation, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements
- Professional appearance and excellent communication skills
- Reliable attendance and the ability to work effectively as part of a clinical team
Preferred Qualifications
- Phlebotomy certification or advanced phlebotomy experience
- Experience supporting IV therapy, wellness, integrative medicine, or specialty medical services
- Experience using electronic medical record systems
- At least one year of clinical experience
