IHCWV is hiring a Medical Assistant to join our growing team. If you like keeping a clinic running smoothly and making patients feel welcome, this role is for you.
What you'll do
- Room patients, take vitals, and gather histories
- Support providers during exams and procedures
- Perform point-of-care testing, injections, and EKGs as trained
- Prep and maintain exam rooms
- Enter accurate information into the EHR
- Be a friendly, reassuring face for patients when they need one
What we're looking for
- Medical Assistant certification or graduation from an accredited MA program
- Current BLS (or willingness to obtain it)
- Strong communication and a real heart for patient care
- Comfort with a fast pace and a team environment
- Clinic experience is a plus, but we'll train the right person
