Description
- Completes pre-op paperwork
- Ordering supplies/stocking rooms
- New patient referrals (scheduling, obtaining missing records, contacting new patients with appointment date/time)
- Scheduling
- Prepping records/patients charts for clinic
- Cleaning of instruments
- Tumor Board (sending records, arranging for slides and radiology disks to be sent)
- Chaperoning during exams
- Lab ordering
Requirements
- CMA certification preferred
- One year medical office experience
- Basic computer knowledge
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to effectively multi-task
- Ability to comply with HIPAA and OSHA policies
