About the Job:
The Medical Assistant performs delegated clinical and administrative functions in the care of patients under the direct supervision of a provider and practice manager. This role supports patient care in person, via telephone, and through telehealth modalities, ensuring adherence to professional standards and state regulations.

What You’ll Do:

• Support patient care across in-person, phone, and telehealth settings under provider supervision, including patient assessment and care coordination.
• Administer medications, treatments, immunizations, and point-of-care testing while collecting patient history and communicating findings to providers.
• Maintain accurate medical record documentation, assist with pre-visit planning, preventive care outreach, and related administrative functions.
• Mentor and train staff, uphold safety and compliance standards, and participate in ongoing education and professional development.

Who You Are / Requirements:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent; completion of a medical assisting program and clinical externship required.
• Licensure/Certification: Current BLS/CPR certification; certification or registration by AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a clinical medical assistant (3 years preferred).
• Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and office workflow.
  • Strong interpersonal communication, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to adapt to change and work as part of a team.
  • Basic computer literacy; Epic EMR experience preferred.
