Shift Hours:
- 5 day per week
- 1 day per week until 8 p.m (starts late)
- Minimum of 6 Saturdays per year, 8-12 noon only

Role Overview
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality and compassionate care to our patients. Working under the direct supervision of providers and nursing leadership, you will perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to support patient care. Your contributions will directly impact the patient experience and the efficiency of our healthcare delivery.

What You Will Do
- Greet and escort patients to the exam room, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment.
- Obtain and record accurate medical histories from patients.
- Measure and record vital signs, preparing patients for examinations and procedures.
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient patient care.
- Perform administrative tasks to support the clinical team and enhance patient care.
Qualifications
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Current BLS-C certification upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation.
Additional Requirements:
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160 hour minimum). OR
Graduate from a Medical Assistant program without completion of a clinical externship but with a minimum one-year experience in clinical medical assisting within the past five (5) years. OR
Current Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in clinical medical assisting. OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). OR
Licensed Paramedic/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years. OR
Military trained medical personnel with at least one-year clinical experience in clinical medical setting within the past five (5) years.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
- EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
