You’ll help create a welcoming environment at the front desk while also providing hands-on clinical support behind the scenes. What You'll Do

This is a dual-role position, giving you the opportunity to work across both patient services and clinical care.

Patient Services & Front Office

You’ll help make every patient’s visit feel smooth, welcoming, and professional by:

• Greeting and checking in patients with warmth and professionalism
• Building positive relationships with patients and making them feel comfortable
• Explaining insurance benefits, coverage, and out-of-pocket costs clearly and compassionately
• Collecting and processing patient payments accurately
• Answering phones, managing messages, and responding to patient communications
• Entering and maintaining accurate patient and insurance information in the EHR
• Keeping the front desk and waiting area clean, organized, and welcoming
• Supporting scheduling and other administrative responsibilities
• Helping maintain an efficient clinic flow throughout the day
• Completing daily cash reconciliation and bank deposits

Clinical Responsibilities

You’ll also play an important role in supporting our providers and delivering quality patient care by:

• Obtaining and accurately documenting patient vital signs
• Performing phlebotomy and injections independently
• Assisting providers with clinical procedures as needed
• Operating EKG and point-of-care testing equipment according to protocol
• Preparing lab requisitions and patient plans in advance
• Rooming patients efficiently, with a goal of 10–15 minutes
• Supporting smooth patient flow throughout the clinic
• Cleaning, stocking, and maintaining exam rooms
• Managing clinical inventory and supplies
• Completing required clinical and operational logs
• Handling and processing patient specimens according to laboratory protocols
• Completing quality control documentation and instrument maintenance
• Identifying and reporting issues that could affect testing accuracy

Schedule

Up to 30 hours per week: below are the days we are needing coverage

• Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM- NEED
• Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM- NEED
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM- NEED
• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM- NEED
  2–3 Saturdays per month

Employees are expected to arrive 15 minutes prior to their scheduled shift.

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who brings both clinical confidence and a genuine desire to help people.

Required Qualifications

• At least 6 months of back-office Medical Assistant experience or completion of an externship in lieu of certification
• High school diploma or GED
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to provide a consistently positive patient experience
• Comfortable discussing insurance, billing, and payment options with patients
• Comfortable performing phlebotomy and injections independently
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinic environment
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting
• Experience working with an electronic health record system
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience with EKG and point-of-care testing equipment

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Onsite clinical environment with regular direct patient interaction
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, and move throughout the clinic during the workday
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to perform fine motor tasks required for clinical responsibilities
