Role Overview
As a Medical Assistant, you¿ll play a vital role in delivering compassionate, quality care to our patients. Working under the supervision of providers and nursing leadership, you¿ll perform administrative and clinical tasks to support patient care, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every individual who walks through our doors.

What You Will Do
- Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Obtain and record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, assisting providers as needed.
- Perform administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the clinical setting.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with a 160-hour clinical externship, OR one year of clinical medical assisting experience within the past five years, OR current professionally recognized Medical Assistant certification with one year of experience, OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), OR Licensed Paramedic/EMT with one year of clinical experience, OR military-trained medical personnel with one year of clinical experience.
- Current BLS-C certification upon hire or by the end of orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
- EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
