Baptist Medical Center is currently looking for a Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a PRN opportunity.

As a Medical Laboratory Assistant, you will be responsible for: 

• Performing a variety of clerical and technical duties associated with the pre- and post-analytical handling of laboratory specimens and results.
• Communicating laboratory results and responding to specimen-related questions from physicians and various other caregivers.
• Collecting blood specimens for routine and special laboratory procedures.
• Utilizing computer functions.

Medical Laboratory Assistant Experience:

• Specimen Processing Experience Preferred
• Phlebotomy Experience Preferred
• Experience working in a Healthcare Setting Preferred

Education & Credential Requirements: 

• High School Diploma Required
