Medical Receptionist- Allentown, PA
Job Summary:
The IMA Group is seeking a friendly, organized Medical Receptionist to be the first face patients see. You’ll run the front desk, keep patient flow moving, and set the tone for a welcoming, professional visit in a fast-paced medical office.
Pay & Schedule: $16.00/hour starting pay | Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors with courtesy and professionalism
- Register new patients, schedule appointments, and answer phone inquiries
- Maintain and update patient records in our electronic medical records system
- Support smooth patient check-in and check-out in partnership with medical staff
- Handle filing, data entry, and office supply upkeep
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of receptionist or customer service experience, preferably in a medical setting
- Strong communication skills and comfort with office equipment and basic software
- Multitasking and organizational skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
