MRI Technologist - Up to $15,000 Sign-On Bonus

Here at The University of Minnesota Medical Center – West Bank Campus, we are seeking an MRI Technologist to join our team! This is a 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two weeks) position working Monday through Friday from 6:30AM - 3PM, with an occasional call rotation and weekends as needed.

Our MRI team supports adult and pediatric patients across a broad range of specialties and works closely with radiologists, physicians, nurses, anesthesia teams, and other clinical partners throughout the hospital.

This is a great opportunity for a technologist looking to grow professionally, expand beyond the scanner, and take on additional responsibility while remaining hands-on clinically. 

This benefit-eligible position is also eligible for a sign-on bonus, prorated based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and prioritizes work to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Performs individualized, compassionate patient care
• Communicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam
• Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol
• Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedures

Required Qualifications

• Technical Certificate or Associate of Science in Radiology
• ARRT Radiology Tech
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous healthcare experience
• Previous Lead MRI Technologist experience
• 1 year experience in a related role
• Additional certifications in Imaging
• ARRT MRI certification or successful completion within 1-1/2 Yrs
• Strong interpersonal skills

The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in your union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of job posting. An individual's pay rate within this range may be influenced by various factors, including FTE, skills, knowledge, educational background, and qualifying experience as specified in the contract.
