PD Reg Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Float Pool- Night Shift

Position Summary:

The Respiratory Care Practitioner evaluates pulmonary dysfunction and performs cardiopulmonary procedures to treat and care for the patient by employing respiratory therapy and ventilatory assistance.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care Program
• Must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care
• Current RCP License from the State of California Respiratory Care Board
• Ability to maintain flexibility and work well in a constantly changing environment
• Ability to float between all UCI-Health campuses

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hold current Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS), Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS), and/or Asthma Educator Specialist (AE-C) credentials from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) or are in the process of obtaining them.
• Bachelor’s degree

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program
• Basic Life Support
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support
