Essential Functions:
Labels, processes and delivers specimens for testing.
Collects and processes blood specimens for testing in the laboratory
Collects blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
Assists with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred
An approved nationally accredited training course in Phlebotomy
ASCP or NHA Preferred Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days of hire
