Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to join our team in Rockville, MD and surrounding areas.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 4am-9pm; Saturdays as needed (hours vary) must be flexible

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of phlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers and/or physician’s offices
• Manage patient flow, wait times and inventory levels and information logs
• Monitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary
• Coordinate phlebotomists’ schedules through resourceful and creative thinking
• Perform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraisals
• Partner with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues and disciplinary actions
• Hire and train phlebotomists to fill any open positions
• Communicate effectively to internal and external customers including patients, client office staff, sales team, logistics and senior management
• Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and clients
• Assist in the set-up of new Patient Service Centers or Client Offices

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent
• 3 years of experience as a phlebotomist
• Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years of phlebotomy experience
• 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience

Additional Job Standards:

• Provide resolution of any patient or client issues
• Perform, collect and prepare specimens when needed
• Travel to additional sites as necessary
• Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record with reliable transportation

• Be at least 21 years’ of age

• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to lead others

• Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize duties
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

**Salary range** $55,000 - $82,000

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data

**May be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, quarterly bonus based on performance metrics
