Gold Coast Physical Therapy is hiring a full-time medical receptionist for our Delray location. Candidates pursuing education in physical therapy, medical assisting or health administration are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Collect patient responsibility payments (copays, coinsurance, deductibles) at time of service
- Accurately enter and update patient demographic and insurance information in EMR system
- Schedule, confirm and manage patient appointments
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff regarding patient scheduling and needs
- Work closely with insurance and billing departments at HQ to address patient account needs and resolve issues
Schedule: Must be able to work within the hours of operation:
- Monday/Wednesday/Thursday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Tuesday/Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Requirements: All applicants must successfully complete a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida House Bill 531 (2025) and applicable state regulations. Candidates must meet all AHCA screening requirements prior to employment: https://info.flclearinghouse.com
