Full job details
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create, send, and file lab certification sheets for customers
- Enter lab data into database daily and coordinate lab files
- Work with production keeping abreast of daily foam results and customer cert sheet needs
- Coordinate, prepare, and ship lab samples to customers
- Create spreadsheets of lab results to analyze lab data
- Conducts all physical testing on foam in the lab for example: Density, ILD, Tensile, Tear, Elongation, etc.
- Schedule sample cuts and cut on Bandsaw for various tests
- Send certification sheets to appropriate customers
- Run analysis on unknown foams for sales quotations
- Conduct and help maintain MSA studies
- Maintain Lab integrity in terms of cleanliness and other specific requirements
- Prepare and maintain lab equipment
- Communications with supervisor when non-conforming product.
- Stops production to correct quality problems.
- Environmental aspect and impact awareness.
- Report any inconsistency or nonconformance on the product and participate in the corrective/preventive actions process
