Job Description

Location: Henry Ford Genesys Hospital, 1 Genesys Pkwy Grand Blanc, MI 48439

Schedule: Full Time, 40 hours per week, Afternoon shift, 6pm- 2:30am with weekend and holiday rotation

Full Time Benefit Eligible

Operates radiographic equipment to produce clinical diagnostic radiographs and images. Performs diagnostic procedures according to established standards and radiation safety practices. Works directly with patients, radiologists, physicians and fellow associates. Follows established rules, regulations policies and procedures of Henry Ford Genesys Hospital. Demonstrates knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to provide care to the age group(s) served.

Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Must possess equivalent of a high school diploma and must have completed an accredited 2-year radiology program. Work Experience: Experience preferred, not required. 

CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED:

• Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. Or be certified by the American Registry of Clinical Radiography Technologists (ARCRT); renewal is required.
