Available Rad Tech Positions:
- M-F Primarily Rotating Day Shift Hours; Every Other Weekend (Rotating Shift) (*Start Times Vary - Includes Holiday and On Call Assignments)
The Radiologic Technologist:
- Perform radiographic procedures, producing images for the interpretation by, or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.
- Demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.
- Maintain a high degree of accuracy in radiographic positioning and exposure technique. They maintain knowledge of radiation protection and safety.
- Prepare, administer and document activities related to contrast media and medications in accordance with state and federal regulations and institutional policy.
- Remain sensitive to the physical , cultural and emotional needs of the patient through excellent communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring and patient care skills.
