Job Overview:

Under the direction of a radiologist, performs routine radiographs and minimally invasive procedures at a technical level, not requiring constant supervision. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and ingenuity to apply prescribed ionizing radiation in order to obtain a radiologic diagnosis. Other duties as assigned. Will also follow the principles and guidelines as set forth by the American College of Radiology. Other duties as assigned. 

General Responsibilities:

• Performs a full range of diagnostic, specialty, invasive, surgical, and endoscopic imaging procedures.
• Operates specialized equipment, including fluoroscopy, C-arm, and cystoscopy systemes, while ensuring accurate documentation of contrast media usage.
• Independently selects and adjusts technical factors to produce high-quality imaging results.
• Maintains equipment cleanliness, functionality, and proper operation standards.
• Troubleshoots radiologic and fluoroscopy equipment issues and communicates effectively with others.
• Demonstrates flexibility in modifying techniques and procedures to meet patient and exam-specific needs.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Satisfactory completion of formal radiological training in an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Minimum 3 years' of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• State License through the Florida Bureau of Radiation Control is mandatory.
• Preferably registered by and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR/BLS certification required.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required.
