We utilize the latest technology and evidence-based practices to manage and treat a wide range of respiratory conditions, ensuring our patients receive the best possible outcomes. Corewell Health Farmington Hills opened on Jan. 19, 1965 as a 200-bed facility known then as Botsford General Hospital. Today, Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital is a 305-bed teaching facility with Level II trauma status.
Scope of work
Under minimal direction, the Registered Respiratory Therapist: implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders; participates in the education of patients, students, staff and physicians; provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care; assists with general department functions.
Qualifications
Required Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy
Respiratory Therapist License - State of Michigan Upon Hire required
Respiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care Upon Hire required
Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association or American Red Cross Upon Hire required
