Experience: 1+ year of acute hospital experience (critical care preferred)
License: Active Georgia Respiratory Care Professional license
Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care under physician orders, including ventilator management and weaning
- Administer aerosol/nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy and airway clearance
- Draw and analyze ABGs where applicable and respond to rapid responses/codes
- Accurately document care and follow infection control and equipment safety protocols
- Must have 1+ year of acute hospital RT experience; ventilator experience required
- Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Active Georgia Respiratory Care Professional license
- NBRC credential (RRT required)
- Active BLS and ACLS Certification
- Negative TB within last 12 months
- Hep B Series or Titer
- MMR Series or Titer
- Tdap Vaccine within last 10 years or Titer
- Varicella Series or Titer
