Respiratory Therapy Director – Respiratory Therapist (RT)

Location: Newark, OH
Employment Type: Full-Time

Are you an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RT) looking to advance your career into a leadership role? We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapy Director to oversee respiratory care services and provide clinical leadership within our facility.

Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate respiratory therapy services
Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and support to respiratory therapy staff
Develop and maintain respiratory care policies, procedures, and standards
Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and professional standards
Monitor quality of care, documentation, and patient outcomes
Provide staff education, training, and mentorship
Collaborate with nursing, physicians, therapy, and other interdisciplinary team members
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Assist with staffing, scheduling, and performance management
Promote a positive, patient-centered culture of care

Qualifications

Current Respiratory Therapist (RT) credential/license in Ohio
Respiratory therapy experience required
Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred
Strong clinical and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, acute care, or a similar healthcare setting is preferred
