Sonographer - Per Diem -Mercy San Diego

This is a casual (per diem) position with varied 8-hour shifts (days and nights). The role requires flexibility throughout the week and weekends. Call is optional. This position is located at Scripps Mercy Hospital San Diego, in the Hillcrest area.

Required Qualifications:

• One of the following: 1) Associate of Science Degree Certification in Ultrasound in a school that is accredit. 2) Successful completion of a formal educational program in an AMA approved school of ultrasound with a minimum of 500 hours of clinical in the specialty required. 3) Registered in the specialty that you are applied for by ARDMS or the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) with at least 1 year of full-time experience required ARDMS or CCI
• ARDMS or CCI
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

• Breast Ultrasound experience
• Inpatient experience
• 1-2 years’ experience
