Travel Medical Assistant
If you’re a Medical Assistant who wants to leave the clinic walls behind and do prevention-focused care where patients actually live, this field-based role offers autonomy, purpose, and real patient connection. You’ll travel across Kansas to complete in-home Annual Wellness Visits and Well-Child Visits, helping seniors and families stay healthier before issues escalate.
Opportunity
This is a full-time, weekday Medical Assistant role built for someone who enjoys movement, independence, and meaningful one-on-one patient care. Instead of rushed exam-room visits, you’ll meet patients in their homes, focus on preventive health, and document each visit using modern EMR tools.
You’ll support a care model centered on access, relationship-building, and early intervention — especially for seniors and families who benefit from care delivered at home.
What You Will Own
- Travel to patients’ homes throughout Kansas for scheduled visits
- Complete Medicare Annual Wellness Visits and Well-Child Visits
- Support preventive care needs rather than urgent or acute care visits
- Build trust with patients through unrushed, relationship-based interactions
- Help seniors and families understand and stay engaged in their care
- Document visits accurately using mobile EMR tools
- Manage a field-based daily workflow with professionalism and reliability

- Interest in prevention-focused care and patient relationship-building
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience completing or supporting Annual Wellness Visits
- Experience with Well-Child Visits
- Prior mobile, home-based, or community-based healthcare experience
Compensation
