Responsibilities
- Operate x-ray equipment to produce radiographs as ordered by physicians.
- Position patients and provide instructions; adjust exposure factors and exposure time to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
- Prepare examination rooms and equipment; ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging.
- Produce and document diagnostic images; verify exams on PACS and communicate results to physicians as appropriate.
- Adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols; maintain imaging room readiness and equipment functionality.
- Collaborate with radiology team to support timely imaging workflows and patient care.

Requirements
- Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: ARRT Radiography (R) certification; California Radiologic Technologist license required; Fluoroscopy license/fluoroscopy credential required within 6 months of hire.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent radiology radiologic technology experience.
- Other: Ability to work in a fast-paced short-term acute care hospital setting; XRAY Tech credentials required.
