Respiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist), Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Travel - temporary assignment in a hospital-based, acute-care setting. Start date 10/07/2026 for a 13-week assignment. Weekly pay range: $2,401–$2,511 per week with guaranteed hours of 40. Shift: 10-hour days. This position supports cardiopulmonary services across adult and pediatric patients and requires independent functioning in a high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory assessment, treatment, education, and diagnostic services for adult and pediatric patients
- Manage mechanical ventilation and noninvasive ventilation; troubleshoot respiratory equipment
- Perform ABG draws and analysis; document results and respond to gas exchange needs
- Conduct pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing as assigned; collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate with providers regarding treatment plans
- Respond to on-call events within the required 30-minute window during the scheduled rotation
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited CoARC respiratory therapy program
- Current Colorado Respiratory Care Practitioner license in good standing
- NBRC credential as an RRT or CRT
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 5 years of respiratory therapy experience in an ED/acute-care hospital setting, including adult and pediatric patients; ICU and ventilator-management experience
- Ability to function independently in an acute-care environment; ABG draw and analysis experience
- Must be able to meet a 30-minute on-call response time
