Position Overview Coastal Health is seeking a dependable, compassionate, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our Spine & Pain team in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, organized, and works well in a fast-paced clinical environment. Key Responsibilities Assist providers with patient examinations and clinical procedures. Obtain and document patient vital signs and medical histories. Prepare examination rooms and maintain a clean, organized clinical environment. Assist with patient intake, rooming, and discharge procedures. Assist providers with clinical tasks and patient care needs. Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR). Support patient care coordination and follow-up. Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and clinical policies. Provide compassionate and professional patient service. Work collaboratively with providers and office staff. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Medical Assistant certification preferred, based on position requirements. Previous medical office or clinical experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment. Professional, dependable, and patient-centered approach. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines.
