Role Overview
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality and compassionate care to our patients. Working under the direct supervision of providers and nursing leadership, you will perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks to support patient care. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our healthcare team, ensuring patients receive the best possible experience.

What You Will Do
- Greet and escort patients to the exam room, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment.
- Take medical histories and measure/record vital signs accurately.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, assisting physicians as needed.
- Perform a wide variety of clinical skills related to ambulatory patient care.
- Utilize basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills to maintain patient records and support administrative tasks.
Qualifications
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES) Medical Assistant Program, OR Graduate of a formal medical assistant program, OR Graduate of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
- Completion of a clinical externship.
- Current BLS-C certificate.
- Successful completion of HFMG pharmacology class and test.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
