Role Overview
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering quality and compassionate patient care. Working under the supervision of providers and nursing leadership, you will perform administrative and clinical tasks to support patient examinations, procedures, and overall care. Your contributions ensure a seamless and positive patient experience.

What You Will Do
- Greet and escort patients to exam rooms, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Obtain and record accurate medical histories and vital signs.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, assisting providers as needed.
- Perform clinical tasks to support ambulatory patient care.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide compassionate care.
Qualifications
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160-hour minimum), OR Graduate from a Medical Assistant program without completion of a clinical externship but with a minimum one-year experience in clinical medical assisting within the past five years, OR Current Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification with a minimum of one year of experience in clinical medical assisting, OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), OR Licensed Paramedic/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with at least one-year clinical experience in a clinical medical setting within the past five years, OR Military trained medical personnel with at least one-year clinical experience in a clinical medical setting within the past five years.
- Current BLS-C upon hire or successful completion by end of orientation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills.
- EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience.
