Medical Assistant I – Part-Time

West Palm Coast, FL | In-Person | Two Days a Week

Allegiance Medical Group (AMG) is seeking a skilled, dependable, and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our Palm Coast clinic. This position supports licensed providers performing Veteran disability and occupational health examinations in a professional, patient-focused environment.

What You’ll Do

Perform patient intake, vital signs, medical history, and screenings
Perform blood draws and specimen collection
Assist providers with disability and occupational examinations
Perform clinical testing
Maintain proper specimen handling and chain-of-custody procedures
Accurately document patient information in the EMR
Prepare and maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies
Support daily clinic operations and patient flow
Follow HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and safety requirements

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for someone who is confident with patients, comfortable performing blood draws, detail-oriented, and eager to expand their clinical skills. Experience in occupational health, disability examinations, urgent care, primary care, phlebotomy, or military medicine is a plus.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Medical Assistant diploma/certificate from an accredited program required
Current CPR/BLS certification required
Phlebotomy/blood draw experience required
Previous clinical or Medical Assistant experience preferred
Experience with EKGs, PFTs, hearing/vision testing, or occupational health is a plus
Military Medic/Corpsman, Paramedic, LPN/LVN, or similar clinical background may be considered based on education and experience
Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently while being a team player
Professional, compassionate, and dependable
