Overview
The Medical Assistant maintains department patient care supplies, ensures timely flow of patients, and assists physicians and nurses to provide optimal care to patients and families.Responsibilities
Perform a variety of routine direct patient care duties to assist medical and nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients. Maintains patient care environment and supplies to ensure patient privacy and safety. Good communication with patients & all disciplines Collects and Processes specimens accurately Obtain and record vital signs accurately Perform ear irrigations Screenings Medicine verification Ordering & maintaining supplies Select procedures, such as suture/staple removal, ear washQualifications
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - American Heart Association (AHA)American Heart Association (AHA), Education: H.S. Diploma/GED (Required), Work Experience:Carle Health Company Overview
