Job Details: Job Location: Vandalia Correctional Center - Vandalia, IL, Position Type: Per Diem, Education Level: High School Diploma/GED, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Job Shift: Day, Job Category: Medical Technician & Support, The pay rate is $21.43/hour + $4/hour PRN differential Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.  We are currently seeking a PRN Phlebotomist to join our team at Vandalia Correctional Center located in Vandalia, Illinois. The Phlebotomist is responsible for drawing blood, checking vital signs, finger stick blood sugars, and assisting with the activities of daily living for patients in a correctional healthcare environment. Schedule: PRN, as needed Qualifications: Completed a certified phlebotomy training program Be a high school graduate or hold a GED At least one year of experience working as a phlebotomist preferred Experience working in corrections/behavioral health preferred Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/BLS Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
