What You'll Do

As a Radiologic Technologist, you'll perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures while providing compassionate, professional care to patients.

Responsibilities include:

Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations as ordered.
Operate portable radiographic equipment when needed.
Apply your knowledge and technical expertise to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
Provide care to infant, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Follow infection-control practices and Universal Precautions.
Communicate professionally with patients, families, physicians, and members of the healthcare team.
Demonstrate sound judgment and technical skill in all areas of Diagnostic Radiology.

Qualifications

Required:

Completion of a 24-month Radiologic Technology program through an AMA-approved school or an AAS degree in Radiologic Technology.
Broad educational background in Diagnostic Radiology.

Preferred:

1–2 years of experience in related radiology fields.
